UA Community Development Study Abroad
The study abroad brings together agriculture, business,
and engineering students to work at a poultry operation outside of
Nampula, Mozambique. The poultry operation was started by a social entrepreneur
and has successfully created several hundred jobs and has generated affordable
protein that has been lacking in the local diet.
